Goes well with
Smoky Joe
Makes it a barbecue dressing rather than a salad one.
Ingredients
- 3 tbsp Sweet Sting Hot Honey
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp toasted sesame oil
- 1 clove garlic, grated
- 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
Method
- 01
Whisk the hot honey and soy together first so the honey dissolves before the oil goes near it.
- 02
Add the vinegar, sesame oil and garlic and whisk until it emulsifies.
- 03
Stir in the sesame seeds.
- 04
Taste on a lettuce leaf, not a spoon — dressings always read too strong neat.
- 05
Keeps two weeks in a jar. Shake before use.
