Sausage & Apple Traybake
One tray, forty-five minutes, and the glaze goes on with fifteen to go so nothing burns. A genuinely good weeknight dinner.

Down & Dirty Mustard
Sausages and mustard. There is nothing to explain here.
Ingredients
- 8 good pork sausages
- 2 red onions, in wedges
- 2 apples, in thick wedges
- 500g baby potatoes, halved
- 3 tbsp Sweet Sting Hot Honey
- Sage and olive oil
Method
- 01
Heat the oven to 200°C fan. Toss the potatoes and onion in oil and salt, roast 20 minutes.
- 02
Add the sausages and apple, roast another 15.
- 03
Now — and only now — drizzle the hot honey over everything and toss.
- 04
Back in for 10 minutes until sticky and dark at the edges.
- 05
Glazing earlier is the one way to ruin this: honey burns long before sausages are cooked.
