Fruitier and a full tier hotter, which drumsticks carry easily.
Ingredients
- 12 chicken drumsticks
- 4 tbsp Sweet Sting Hot Honey
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, grated
- 1 tbsp grated ginger
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- Sesame seeds and spring onion
Method
- 01
Heat the oven to 200°C fan. Pat the drumsticks very dry, season, and space them out on a lined tray.
- 02
Bake 35 minutes, turning once, until the skin has browned and the juices run clear.
- 03
Mix the hot honey, soy, garlic, ginger and sesame oil in a bowl.
- 04
Spoon the glaze over and give them 12 minutes more, turning once. Glazing at the start only burns the honey before the chicken is done.
- 05
Rest five minutes on the tray so the glaze sets, then sesame seeds and spring onion.
